This training event offers 1.6 American Academy of Audiology, AAPC, and AOA/COPM approved continuing education credits. State audiology licensure, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association certification, and American Board of Audiology certification requires evidence of course attendance. This will be supplied at the end of each course via a certificate, once the course assessment and/or course evaluation (which are both requirements for continuing education) have been completed and submitted. Audiology Resources reports continuing education to the American Academy of Audiology and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, after receipt of materials, on a monthly basis. Audiology Resources also retains records of course attendance in the event of a continuing education audit.

Only the individual who registered and paid for a course is eligible for continuing education credit and is eligible to ask questions as part of the no charge guidance. The no charge guidance runs for six-months from the date of the purchase. No other individual who viewed the course or completed an assessment can apply for continuing education or receive guidance.

Kim Cavitt, AuD

Kim Cavitt, AuD was a clinical audiologist and preceptor at The Ohio State University and Northwestern University for the first ten years of her career. Since 2001, Dr. Cavitt has operated her own Audiology consulting firm, Audiology Resources, Inc. Audiology Resources, Inc. provides comprehensive operational, compliance and reimbursement consulting services to hearing healthcare providers. She also serves on committees through ADA. She is a past president of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology.
