The following constitute the terms and conditions to which applicants agree when purchasing any AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. virtual courses. AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. reserves the right to review and update these periodically.
Intellectual Property
AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. retains all of the intellectual property rights of all of the video, audio, slides, documents, chat logs, agendas, and materials contained in each course. Purchasers agree:
- not to print the training materials or documentation, specifically for unauthorized dissemination or re-sale, except where such printing is incidental or necessary for the purposes of completing the relevant course;
- not to rent, lease, sub-license, loan, translate, merge, adapt, vary or modify the training materials or documentation;
- not to alter, or modify, the whole or any part of the training materials or documentation, nor permit the training materials or any part of them to be combined with, or become incorporated into, any other materials;
- to supervise and control use of the training materials and documents and ensure that they are used by your employees and representatives in accordance with the terms of these Terms and Conditions;
- not to record, transfer, provide or otherwise make available the training materials or documentation in whole or in part, in any form to any person without prior written consent of AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC.
Registration and Purchase
- Registration with the AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. (creating an account)
Before you purchase a virtual training course, AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. requires you to register to create an account and provide certain information about yourself. In doing this, you agree to: provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the relevant registration form.
- Prices
Notice of new pricing will be given in advance, but AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. reserves the right to change prices listed without notice.
Prices for each course will be available on the course registration site. Prices include six months, from the date of purchase, unlimited, no-charge telephone, text and email questions and guidance. As part of this no-charge guidance, AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. does not review any form, document, contract process, policy, or claim, regardless of the size of the form or document, as part of the no charge benefit. This service is only provided, for a separate fee, through my consulting service, AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC.
- Payment
Fees must be paid at the point of purchase via PayPal or Stripe and their secure online payment process. AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. can also accept payment via check and your access to the course will be accepted once the payment is received and processed. We cannot accept payment, by installments.
- Prevailing terms and conditions
All services provided by AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. are on the basis of these Terms and Conditions and if you wish to engage any AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. services we shall only provide them if you accept the Terms and Conditions. If you offer to engage AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. on your own terms and conditions then we shall only accept your offer subject to the Terms and Conditions, which shall, if we provide the services you offer to engage, prevail over any other terms and conditions.
Education and Training
AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. is not a law firm. The content contained in its courses has been prepared by AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. as a service to its participants and is not intended to constitute legal advice. AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. has used reasonable efforts in collecting, preparing, and providing quality information and material, but does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, adequacy, or currency of the information contained on or linked to these training modules. Users of information from this event or the links do so at their own risk. Consistent with the foregoing, none of the services provided by AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. to any client or customer constitutes, or is intended to constitute, legal advice or counsel. Clients and customers are encouraged to confer with legal counsel, where appropriate, in connection with any information and/or documents furnished by AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. pursuant to any established formal engagement.
Also, as these courses contain coding, billing, reimbursement, compliance, regulatory and insurance information, AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. can only confirm their accuracy, completeness, adequacy, and currency of information on the date of recording. The subject matter is one that is constantly changing and potential students should be aware of this fact prior to purchase. AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. live events (face to face or live stream) always contain the most up to date information. These courses will be re-recorded annually, or as the course material substantially changes, whichever time frame is the longer of the two options.
- AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. Virtual Courses
After purchasing a virtual course, you will be given access to the AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. Boot Camp and training modules you purchased on the terms of the license referred to below for a period of six months from the date of purchase. By using the Audiology Resources Virtual Training Program, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you cannot use the site.
Whilst we make every effort to keep changes to the site to a minimum, we reserve the right to make any amendments to the terms and conditions at any time to reflect changes affecting our business, including, but not limited to, changes in technology, payment methods and legal and regulatory requirements. By continuing to use this site you agree to accept any changes made to the terms and conditions.
AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. does not warrant that the provision of any content online will always be available or be uninterrupted, timely or error free, that defects will be corrected or that such content is secure or free from bugs, viruses, errors and omissions. - Continuing Education Credit
AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. training events offer either American Academy of Audiology or AAPC approved continuing education credit. State audiology licensure, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association certification, and American Board of Audiology certification requires evidence of course attendance. This will be supplied at the end of each course via a certificate, once the course assessment and/or course evaluation (which are both requirements for continuing education) have been completed and submitted. AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. reports continuing education to the American Academy of Audiology, after receipt of materials, on a quarterly basis. AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES, INC. also retains records of course attendance in the event of a continuing education audit.
Only the individual who registered and paid for a course is eligible for continuing education credit and is eligible to ask questions as part of the no charge guidance. No other individual who viewed the course or completed an assessment can apply for continuing education or receive guidance.
- Cancellation of a Virtual Course
Once you have purchased a virtual course the fee is non-refundable and the purchase is non-transferrable. If you cancel any virtual course, you will not be entitled to any refund, nor will you be able to transfer your place either to another person or onto another virtual course.
